Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans

Hello family & friends! We’ve almost finished unpacking our home in Jax…only to begin packing up again for our grand camping adventure! Ken has settled in nicely to working in St. Augustine, the kids & I are finally having a pretty normal school schedule (we’re so proud of them with all this change!), the doggies are loving their new big yard…& each time I’ve had a moment to relax, my mind starts thinking about THIS trip, understandably. We are all going to be in for some real life changes & adjustments, along with some emotions running high & low.

As a whole, we just cannot wait to begin this adventure! We know the peace we have had as God has shown us that it’s truly OK to let go of it all, leave it behind & go explore this amazing country. We get very excited thinking of the memories we’re going to make…we are humbled by the fact that we are able to do this at all…& we are excited to be able to share our journey with each of you!! We will covet your prayers… …for safety in everything, from road travel to exploring on foot …for exceptional health while we are in “foreign” cities …for our family to remain steadfast in our devotion to each other & to our God …for our patience in everything…don’t forgot we will be living in a camper together for a year! …for our Sunday worship as we experience all different styles of churches & also as we worship together as a family …that we never take for granted the beauty of our country & the freedom we experience each day …& finally for our hearts not to be too homesick.

OK…so here is what we have so far. On the map, you will see Part 1 of the trip. While our timeline remains pretty flexible (impossible to plan a year without leaving much room for change!), we are hoping to stick by this general route & plan. We cannot state enough how much we would LOVE visitors!! Do you have a place in mind you’ve been wanting to visit? MEET US THERE!!! Just because we’re in a camper, doesn’t mean we’ve left our entertaining bug back home!! Come & let us “host” you! Many of our camp resorts will have cabins for rent & if not, we can squeeze into the camper with you! (Note: We said camp RESORTS…you know us, we don’t like to rough it too much…you can expect all the amenities & comforts of home, “Ringhaver Camp Style”!!!!)

So plan your trips with us in mind & maybe we can plan to meet up along the way. Part 1 of our journey will begin this April…just weeks away, running through November! We will plan to park Ken’s truck & the camper in Cali & head back to Jax just before Thanksgiving, staying home until mid-January, where we will fly back to resume Part 2 of our adventure in the southern 1/2 of the country through the following June 2016. We will be seeing several family members & friends in their homes along the way & can hardly wait! Eudaly, Piefer, Kippy, Janice, Bjorks, Maurer, Burbridge, Stanger, McLeod, Ooley, Chadwell & hopefully more! So, we will be sure to keep you all posted as things fall into place. If you have special “must-sees” along the way, please, please, please share! We can’t wait to experience the living history of the United States! From our fifth wheel camper (AKA The Beast), we send our love!! Ken, Rachel, Rylie, Caden, Rocco & Stella
